Being Seen
This month's theme is all about the process of summoning your courage and putting yourself out into the world.
October Photo Zine
This edition of the zine is a bit more wordy than usual. I've written two articles just for my readers to immerse in, plus shared a handful of images from my stopover in Kathmandu. The theme for October has been the art of being seen, and the struggle to be brave when you're the kind of photographer who prefers to melt into the walls! It's a very intimate edition this month.

The Himalayas Are Calling
Only a few spots are left for Bhutan in December 2027. Seems like a long long way away but time goes fast these days. We also have plenty of places for Nepal in November 2027, which will be our regular journey from Kathmandu Valley to Mustang. Drop me a line if you think you might like to know more about one of the tours or workshops, or we can arrange a quick video chat.

Words From Susan Sontag
I recently posted a video to my YouTube with my reflections on the work of Susan Sontag, a critic who was prolific in the 1970s and had a lot to say about photography. Her words from back then still resonate with me today. Have a watch of the video on my YouTube Channel here...
Update On Tashi
I've been very busy working on "The Joy of Tashi" this month and for the first time in a year it feels like the finish line is somewhere in sight. A dot on the horizon perhaps! If you haven't heard about my documentary project yet, this is the story of a monk who wants to become a photographer. His name is Tashi.

Apologies for September
Just a quick note to apologise that I never got around to posting in September. I had a lot happening with magazine shoots and preparing for the Himalayas, and totally missed my window to share on the blog. To those who are new to my newsletter, I am trying my best to share something every month. I'm a better photographer than publisher however!
